Grinders

Grinders is a short ttrpg that blends poker and roleplaying into a fun and quick one shot you can run in between sessions or expand into more! Make sure you grab a deck of cards, something to use as chips, and refresh your knowledge of poker, then create a character you might see in a casino card room from the 80s. The rules of this game are much simpler than actual poker, and at the end of a round you get to go shopping!

This feels like a nice compromise if half of your ttrpg group wants to play poker lol. I think actually using your chips to buy things is a cool take on this. Imagine how cool this would be with deck modifications for progression like Balatro! I could totally see myself running this as a oneshot once!
